Data!rom field trials confirmed that Dursbau 4TC, chlorpyrifos -

500 EC and Talaban 40,8 TC at rate 100 mL L protected citrus trees for two years.  While ch1orfate. 40.8 TC, Dormate 40,8TC, Yamasban

40,8 TC protected  them for 16,16 and 12 months respectively at the same concentration.

But the rate of 5m1/ L of Dursban, chropyfros 500 EC , Chlorfat,

Tafabun yamashan and Dormate protected the trees tor 24,16,4,4,2

and 4 months  , respectively .

   This work involves synthesis of novel Schiff bases derivatives contining isoxazoline or pyrazoline units starting with chalcons . 4-Aminoacetophenone was reacted with 3-nitrobenzaldehyde in basic medium giving chalcone [I] by claisen-schemidt reaction. The chalcone [I]  was reacted with hydroxylamine hydrochloride giving isoxazoline [II]  in basic medium. The chalcone [I] could also react with hydrazitne hydrate to give pyrazoline [III]  . The inhibitory effect of acetone, ethanol, and aqueous extracts of ten medicinal plants on β-lactamase from Staphylococcus sciuri and Klebsiella pneumoniae was investigated in vitro by starch-iodine agar plate method. The results revealed the success of starch-iodine method for the detection of the inhibition of β-lactamase activity by the various extracts of each individual plant. Thirty six bacteria were isolated from various sourcesc (soil, starch, cooked rice and other foods) and subjected to a series of primary screening tests to obtain the optimal isolation to production of amylase. The volume of producing zone by logal indicator for (Seven) isolates of the secondary screening by measuring the enzymatic activity and specific enzymatic activity.
