Breast cancer is the most repeatedly detected cancer category and the second reason cause of cancer-linked deaths among women worldwide. Tumor bio-indictor is a term utilized to describe possible indicators for carcinoma diagnosis, development and progression. The goal of this study is to evaluate part of some cytokines and biomarkers for both serum and saliva samples in breast cancer then estimate their potential value in the early diagnosis of breast cancer by doing more researches in saliva, and utilizing saliva instead of blood (serum and plasma) in sample collection from patients. Serum and salivary samples were taken from 72 patients with breast cancer and 45 healthy controls, in order to investigate the following cytokines such as: interleukin 12 (IL-12), interleukin 6 (IL-6), interleukin 4 (IL-4), 8-hydroxydeoxyguanosine (8-OHdG), tumor necrosis factor (TNF) and interferon-γ (IFN-γ) levels with other bio-pointers such as:
malondialdehyde (MDA), catalase, and 8-nitroguanine (8-NG). The results displayed that the levels of blood and saliva samples of IL-12 (P<0.0001), IL-6 (P<0.0001), IL-4 (P<0.001), 8-OHdG (P<0.0001), 8-NG (P<0.001, and P<0.004), TNF (P<0.002, and P<0.001) and IFN-γ (P<0.0001) were significantly higher in breast cancer, whereas there were significant lowering (P<0.0001) in catalase activates in breast cancer in both samples as compared with healthy subjects. The exchanging of blood to salivary components evaluation in this investigation may be utilized as a diagnostic tool, and designates the potential part for MDA, Catalase, and cytokines as important biochemical in breast cancer. Accordingly, the salivary diagnosis embraces a non-invasive process and tumor progression in breast malignancy patients. Beside saliva may well signify as an active new gate as blood evaluation but easier and cheaper.
In the current study, new derivatives were synthesized by reaction of N-hydroxyphthalimide with chloro acetyl chloride in the presence of Et3N as a base to form 1,3-dioxoisoindolin-2-yl 2-chloroacetate (B1), which in turn enters several reactions with different amines where it interacts with primary amines to give 1,3-dioxoisoindolin-2-yl acetate derivatives (B2-B4) in basic medium, in the same way it interacts with these amines but with adding KNCS to form thiourea derivatives (B5-B7). It also reacts with diamines to give bis(azanediyl) derivatives (compounds B8-B10). The prepared derivatives were diagnosed using infrared FTIR and 1HNMR,13CNMR for some derivatives. Compounds B4, B5 and B9 were measured as corrosion inhibitors the inhibitio

For this purpose, from among all first-grade students, as many as 250 students (130 females and 120 males) were selected by using multistage cluster sampling. The data needed were then collected through using California Critical Thinking Skills Test, Schommer's Epistemological Beliefs Questionnaire, Biggs’ Revised Two Factor Study Process Questionnaire. The findings indicated that there is a positive significant relationship between critical thinking and academic performance and achievement. Moreover, four fa

There are multiple risk factors that could lead to CRC emergence; of which are genetic polymorphisms. Excision repair cross-complementing group 2 (ERCC2) gene encodes for ERCC2 enzyme which plays a crucial role in maintaining genomic integrity by removing DNA adducts. Several studies suggested that there could be a link between genetic polymorphisms of ERCC2 gene and the risk of CRC development. Hence the present study aims to validate the relationship between the following ERCC2 single nucleotide polymorphisms (rs13181, rs149943175, rs530662943, and rs1799790) and CRC susceptibility. A t

Early detection and diagnosis are essential for lung cancer and will provide effective therapy and achieve better outcomes for patients; in recent years, algorithms of Deep Learning have demonstrated crucial promise for their use in medical imaging analysis, especially in lung cancer identification. This paper includes a comparison between a number of different Deep Learning techniques-based models using Computed Tomograph image datasets with traditional Convolution Neural Networks and SequeezeNet models using X-ray data for the automated diagnosis of lung cancer. This was followed by purification with gel filtration chromatography using Sephadex G-150, which was 2mg/ml. The morphology and size of purified EC-OMVs were confirmed by transmission electron microscopy (TEM) at 40-200 nm. The nature of functional groups in the vesicle vesicle was determined by Fourier transforms infrared spectroscopy (FT-IR) analysis. The antitumor activity of EC-OMVs was conducted in vitro by MTT assay in human ovarian (OV33) cancer cell line at 24,48 and 96hrs. The cytotoxicity test showed high susceptibility to the vesicles in ovarian compared to normal
