(1969: 57) concerning the speech act of promising in order to render them to selected
sayings of Prophet Muhammad (P.B.U.H.) and Jesus Christ (P.B.U.H.) and to

promising appropriate for sincere promises made by the Messengers of God since
they deliver their Messages of God but they are unable, as Messengers, to fulfill
God’s promises which they make as part of their Messages and by representatives of

This research is an attempt to study aspects of syntactic deviation in AbdulWahhab Al-Bayyati with reference to English. It reviews this phenomenon from an extra-linguistic viewpoint. The purpose of the study was to analyse the number of children aged 6 to 9 in an Iraqi Arab population who had erupted permanent first molars and to examine how nutritional status affected the timing and level of emergence.
