Its etiology involves genetic mutations, syndromic associations, or developmental disturbances of Hertwig’s epithelial root sheath. Diagnosis relies mainly on radiographic assessment, with CBCT offering superior accuracy, and indices such as Shaw’s and Shifman’s aiding classification.
