The problem of informal settlements in Iraqi is one of the most serious problems due
to its economic, social and security impacts which jeopardize the society safety and stability.
This study investigates the present situation of informal settlements in the Baghdad
governorates as well as approaches followed in making decisions to either upgrade or remove
those areas. Requirements of each decision are also discussed.
Study methods relied on both office and field studies to collect data and information
needed. The study revealed important findings that would help take appropriate measures that

The method of incineration was chosen to treat the most commonly used antimicrobial agents in Iraq (Triclabendazol, Oxfendazol, Mebendazole), which are antibiotics for children. The moisture content and chemical oxygen demand (COD) were examined and the results were (93.34, 94.88, 92.97)%, (52000, 33200, and 64000) mg/ L. The temperature was determined as a variable in the burning process (600, 500, 400)° C for the purpose of calculating the loss of ignition LOI and determining the ideal temperature. This paper presents an investigation to the effect of the forming speed on healing voids that inhabit at various size in an ingot. The study was performed by using finite element method with bilinear isotropic material option, circular type voids were considered. The closure index was able to predict the minimum press force necessary to consolidate voids and the reduction. The simulation was carried out, on circular cross-section lead specials containing a central void of different size. At a time with a flat die, different ratio of inside to outside radius was taken with different speed to find the best result of void closure.
