Spectral Behaviour of the low concentrations of Coumarin 334 with Broadband Cavity Enhanced Absorption Spectroscopy
...Show More Authors

The current research is a spectroscopic study of Coumarin 334 dissolved in methanol. The range of concentrations of the prepared stock solution was (3.39x10-9 to 2.03x10-8) M. Some optical characteristics of this dye were investigated such as absorbance and transmission spectra, absorption coefficient, refractive and extinction coefficients, oscillation and dispersion energies, and energy band gap. The absorbance spectra were recorded at 452 nm using Broad Band Cavity Enhanced Absorption Spectroscopy (BBCEAS) which depends on increasing the path length of the traveling light from the source to the detector. The minimum absorbance amount was 0.07 with a low concentration of 3.39x10-9 M. As a result, the other optical properties were calculated on the basis of the lowest values of absorbance. The energy band gap, which is important to detect the electronic band structure of the material,  was determined; it was found to be equal to ~2.55 eV. The low values of the concentration made less collision between the molecules in the materials and the incident light. This led to a reduction in the background noise and in the percentages of losses. Furthermore, the dispersion and single oscillator energies, which help to calculate the average strength of the inter-band optical transitions and to prepare the quantifiable information about the band structure of the material, were calculated to reduce with the increasing concentrations. The refractive and extinction coefficients were determined because they are considered important factors for the optical materials and found to increase with the increasing concentrations. As a result, the study of the optical behavior of Coumarin 334 highlighted the promising materials for photonics applications at very low concentrations. All these properties are considered the main factors to determine the usefulness of the materials in advanced applications and to develop the performance of the devices which depend on the optical characteristics.

The data presented in this paper are related to the research article entitled “Novel dichloro(bis{2-[1-(4-methylphenyl)-1H-1,2,3-triazol-4-yl-κN3 ]pyridine-κN})metal(II) coordination compounds of seven transition metals (Mn, Fe, Co, Ni, Cu, Zn and Cd)” (Conradie et al., 2018) [1]. This paper presents characterization and structural data of the 2-(1-(4-methyl-phenyl)-1H-1,2,3-triazol-1-yl)pyridine ligand (L2 ) (Tawfiq et al., 2014) [2] as well as seven dichloro(bis{2- [1-(4-methylphenyl)-1H-1,2,3-triazol-4-yl-κN3 ]pyridine-κN})metal (II) coordination compounds, [M(L2 )2Cl2], all containing the same ligand but coordinated to different metal ions. The data illustrate the shift in IR, UV/VIS, and NMR (for diamagnetic complexes) peaks wh

Estimation Activity And Partial Purification Of Leucine Amino Peptidase (Lap) In Patients Wiith Diabetic Nephropathy
...Show More Authors

Leucine aminopepotidase (LAP)[EC:3.4.11.1] activity has been assayed in (50) serum samples of patients with diabeties naphrophathy D.N (non-insulin dependent diabetic (NIDD) , and (50)serum sample of healthy individuals without any clinically detectable diseases have been as control group. The aim of this study is to measure leucine aminopeptidase activity and partially purifying the enzyme from sera of patients with diabetes nephropathy The results of this study revealed that Leucine aminopeptidase (LAP) activity of nephropathy patient’s serum shows a high signifiacant increase (p < 0.001) compared to that of the healthy subjects.LAP was purified from the serum of patients with diabetes nephropathy by dialysis and gel filtration (Se

Knee Meniscus Segmentation and Tear Detection Based On Magnitic Resonacis Images: A Review of Literature
...Show More Authors

The meniscus has a crucial function in human anatomy, and Magnetic Resonance Imaging (M.R.I.) plays an essential role in meniscus assessment. It is difficult to identify cartilage lesions using typical image processing approaches because the M.R.I. data is so diverse. An M.R.I. data sequence comprises numerous images, and the attributes area we are searching for may differ from each image in the series. Therefore, feature extraction gets more complicated, hence specifically, traditional image processing becomes very complex. In traditional image processing, a human tells a computer what should be there, but a deep learning (D.L.) algorithm extracts the features of what is already there automatically. The surface changes become valuable when

Synthesis and Evaluation Biological Activity of Some New Polymers Derived From 3,3’-dimethoxybiphenyl-4,4’-diamine
...Show More Authors

In this study, synthesis of polymer Nanocomposites through the blending of prepared polymers with polyvinyl alcohol (a synthetic polymer) or chitosan (a natural polymer) then mixed with nano oxide silica by many steps. The new compound [I] was obtained via reaction of 3,3’-dimethoxybiphenyl-4,4’-diamine as starting material with malic anhydride in DMF then treatment with ammonium persulfate (NH4 )2 S2 O8 (as the initiator) in order to produce polymer [II]. Also, we prepared new polymers [III-V] by using the same starting material (3,3’-dimethoxybiphenyl-4,4’-diamine) with glutaric acid or adipic acid or isophthalic acid in DMF and pyridine. In this study, new polymer blending [VI-IX] and [X-XIII] were synthesized from a prepared pol
