The current research aims to identify the effect of using a model of generative learning in the achievement of first-middle students of chemical concepts in science. The present work was conducted in the fields of Al-Sewarah and Kurkok stations which belong to the State Board of Agricultural Researches, Ministry of Agriculture, Iraq during the growing season of 2018. The goal of the study was to test the effects of the application of cyanobacteria  (Anabaena circinalis and Nostoc commune) alone or in combination with reducing the dose of chemical fertilizers (CFs), which consisted of diammonium phosphate (DAP) and urea (46% nitrogen), on growth, yield and yield components of wheat cv. IPA99. Application of 50%  and 100% of CFs without cyanobacteria as well as control (without cyanobacteria and CFs) were also included in this study for comparison.

Research was conducted to study the effect of proline and aspirin with 10 and 20 ppm on seed germination and seedling growth of Lycopersicon esculentumand the effect of surface growthof Fusarium oxysporum.The results showed that the proline and aspirin effected significantly to decreased percentage of seed germination, acceleration of germination, promoter indicator, elongation speed of radical and plumule and also the infection percentage of seed decay and surface growth of Fusarium oxysporumwas reduced significantly.

     Water treatment plants play an important role in the purification and distribution of safe drinking water to the public. The present study focused on the performance assessment of the Al-Rasheed water treatment plant [ARWTP]. The main objectives of the assessment were to determine the efficiency of various plant units as well as the quality of inlet water from the Tigris River. Results obtained from the collected data indicated the presence of high concentrations of soluble nitrate and phosphate ions in the filtered water.
