The dose rate for bremsstrahlung radiation from beta particles with energy (1.710) MeV and (2.28) MeV which comes from (32P and 90Y) beta source respectively have been calculated through six materials (polyethylene, wood, aluminum, iron, tungsten and lead) for first shielding material with thickness (x=1) mm which are putting between beta sources and second shield (polyethylene, aluminum and lead) with thickness (1, 2 &4) mm have been calculated. A precise, simple, and accurate continuous flow injection technique was used for the instantaneous estimation of bromhexine hydrochloride (BH-HCl) in tablet dosage form. The chemical and physical parameters of the reaction of BH-HCl with tetraphenylborate to produce a yellowish-white precipitate were determined using an ISNAG fluorimeter analyzer and diverging light at 90°. The calibration curve for BH-HCl was linear with correlation coefficients of 0.9994 and linearity percentage r2% = 99.87 over a concentration range of 0.01-20 mmol/L, L.O.D = 0.3610 µg/125µL (0.007 mmol/L), and RSD% less than 0.3% for 3 and 13 mmol/L (five replicates). Objectives: To study the effect of providing tertiary (specialized) health care for type 2 diabetic patients to meet the WHO and ADA standards and glycemic targets.
Method: Six months, Jan. – Jun. 2010, cohort study was conducted on 600 adult diabetics who registered in the National Diabetes Center (NDC) / Al-Mustansiriya University, Baghdad – Iraq. They were followed for 3- 6 months; each time patients were examined physically and their blood pressure, height, weight and BMI were measured.
