Investigation of Superhydrophobic/Hydrophobic Materials Properties Using Electrospinning Technique
...Show More Authors

The aim of this research is to study the surface alteration characteristics and surface morphology of the superhydrophobic/hydrophobic nanocomposite coatings prepared by an electrospinning method to coat various materials such as glass and metal. This is considered as a low cost method of fabrication for polymer solutions of Polystyrene (PS), Polymethylmethacrylate (PMMA) and Silicone Rubber (RTV). Si were prepared in various wt% of composition for each solutions. Contact angle measurement, surface tension, viscosity, roughness tests were calculated for all specimens. SEM showed the morphology of the surfaces after coated. PS and PMMA showed superhydrophobic properties for metal substrate, while Si showed hydrophobic characteristics for both metal and glass substrate. Polymer solution of (15%Si/Thinner (Th)) owned best roughness for glass substrate and polymer solution of (4%PMMA/Tetrahydrofuran (THF)) owned best roughness for metal substrate.

Comparison among Populations of Mosquitoes Culex quinquefasciatus Say by using Geometric Morphometric Technique from Different Regions of Iraq
...Show More Authors

The geometric morphometric technique was used to study the variables in the shape and size wings of different populations of mosquitoes Culex quinquefasciatus from different Iraqi provinces Babylon, Baghdad and Wasit. The results showed that the average of centroid size were 366, 387.5 and 407.4 Micron in Babylon, Baghdad and Kut, respectively. The statistical analysis showed that there were no significant differences in the average of centroid size of all specimens and they belong to the same species.

Multiple Materials in Aggregate Art: وعد عدنان محمود
...Show More Authors

The research presents a case study of collecting materials and raw materials in a visual space that allows them to form a perception and meanings that inform the recipient by reconstructing them and inserting them into the surface of the artistic work and in such a way that the aesthetic act consists of a variety of media, touches and surfaces. The overlap of races within an environment characterized by unity. That is why the researcher in chapter one presented the problem of research, and the focus was on studying the multiplicity of materials and their aesthetic and functional role in the structure of creative work. The aim of the research is enhanced to identify the aesthetic performance function of the multiplicity of ores in the col

Conducting Polymers: Materials, Mechanisms, and Applications – a Review
...Show More Authors

The 2000 Nobel Prize in Chemistry was awarded to Alan J. Heeger, Alan G. MacDiarmid, and Hideki Shirakawa for the discovery and development of conductive polymers, particularly polyacetylene. Since then, research on conducting polymers has progressed rapidly, with sustained focus on their morphology, structural design, and technological applications. This paper presents a comprehensive review of conducting polymers, focusing on their structure, synthesis, and applications in electrical, optical, and energy-conversion technologies. Prominent systems – including polyaniline, polypyrrole, polythiophene, polyacetylene, poly(p-phenylene vinylene) (PPV), poly(p-phenylene) (PPP), and poly(3,4-ethylenedioxythiophene) (PEDOT) – are discussed wit

Characteristics of Melody and Rhythm in Baghdadi Al-Murabah Songs: هشام خليل جرجيس
...Show More Authors

The research studies the melody and rhythmic characteristics in the songs of the Baghdadi quartet, as it is a type of popular singing in Iraq, reviewing its origins, social purposes, special and public events in which it is performed. The methodological framework included the problem of the research, the need for it, its importance, its purpose, and the limits of the research which included the objective limit: the songs of the Baghdadi quartet, the spatial limit: the city of Baghdad and the temporal limit (1960-1980) and identifying the terms included in the research.
The theoretical framework consisted of three items: the first is the popular singing, the second is the Iraqi popular singing and the third is the Baghdadi quartet. It

Numerical Solutions for the Nonlinear PDEs of Fractional Order by Using a New Double Integral Transform with Variational Iteration Method
...Show More Authors

This paper considers a new Double Integral transform called Double Sumudu-Elzaki transform DSET. The combining of the DSET with a semi-analytical method, namely the variational iteration method DSETVIM, to arrive numerical solution of nonlinear PDEs of Fractional Order derivatives. The proposed dual method property decreases the number of calculations required, so combining these two methods leads to calculating the solution's speed. The suggested technique is tested on four problems. The results demonstrated that solving these types of equations using the DSETVIM was more advantageous and efficient

Effect of Red Laser Irradiation on The Optical Properties of Cobalt oxide (CoO2) Thin Films deposited via Semi-Computerized Spraying Technique
...Show More Authors
Abstract<p>The existing investigation explains the consequence of irradiation of red laser on the optic properties of (CoO2) films. The film was equipped by the utilization of semi-computerized spray pyrolysis technique (SCSPT), it is the first time that this technique is used in the preparation and irradiation using a laser in this technique. From the XRD analysis, the crystalline existence with trigonal crystal system was when the received films were processed by continuous red laser (700 nm) with power (>1000mW)for different laser irradiation time using different number of times a laser scan (0, 6, 9, 12, 15 and 18 times) with total irradiation time(0,30,45,60,75,90 mi</p> ... Background: The aim of this study was to evaluate the push-out bond strength of four different obturation materials to intraradicular dentin and to determine the failure mode. Materials and method: forty straight palatal roots of the maxillary first molars teeth were used in this study, the roots were instrumented using crown down technique and rotary EndoSequence system, the roots were randomly divided into four groups according to the materials used for obturation (n=10).Group (1): AH Plus sealer and gutta-percha. Group (2): Activ GP glass ionomer sealer and Activ GP gutta-percha (Activ GP system). Group (3): Bioceramic sealer and Bioceramic gutta-percha. Group (4): GuttaFlow2 sealer and gutta-percha. Hypothetical Design of Carbon Nanotube Materials Based on [8]Circulene
...Show More Authors

B3LYP/6-31G, DFT method was applied to hypothetical study the design of six carbon nanotube materials based on [8]circulene, through the use of cyclic polymerization of two and three molecules of [8]circulene. Optimized structures of [8]circulene have saddle-shaped. Design of six carbon nanotubes reactions were done by thermodynamically calculating (Δ S, Δ G and Δ H) and the stability of these hypothetical nanotubes depending on the value of HOMO energy level. Nanotubes obtained have the most efficient gap energy, making them potentially useful for solar cell applications.
