Vehicle Air Conditioning (AC) systems are used in countries that suffer high temperature degrees during the summer season, one of these countries is Iraq. Most passengers suffer manifestations which may lead to Allergic or Respiratory diseases as they inhale polluted air produced by AC systems.
In this study 10 vehicle were selected randomly on the basis of noxious odors emitted from AC systems. Indoor air samples were collected by using impaction method and using Sabouraud's dextrose agar to grow and isolate dominant fungi species accompanied with AC polluted air. The best sun duration hours regions (maximum hours) in Iraq were estimated detected by using Geographic information system (GIS Ver. 9.2) program to apply the (Inverse distance weighting) IDW exact interpolation technique depending on the measured data of metrological stations were distributed on the land areas of Iraq. In this study, the zinc oxide NPs have been synthesized from the fresh pomegranate peels extract using the precipitation method. The ZnO nanoparticles were produced from the reaction of fresh peels extract with zinc acetate salt which was used as zinc source in the presence of 2 M NaOH. The green synthesized nanoparticles were characterized through X-ray diffraction (XRD), UV-Vis diffuse reflection spectroscopy, Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy (FTIR), and Atomic force microscopy (AFM).
