The main factors that make it possible to get the corrosion of reinforcing steel in concrete are chloride ions and the absorption of carbon dioxide from the environment, and each of them works with a mechanism which destroys the stable immunity of rebar in the concrete. In this work the effect of carbon dioxide content in the artificial concrete solution on the corrosion behavior of carbon steel reinforcing bar (CSRB) was studied, potentiostatically using CO2 stream gas at 6 level of concentrations; 0.03 to 2.0 weight percent, and the effect of rising electrolyte temperature was also followed in the range 20 to 50ᴼ C. Tafel plots and cyclic polarization procedures were obeyed to investigate the corrosion parameters and pitting susceptibility respectively. The change in the microstructure and morphology of the CSRB after polarization in the simulate concrete solution was studied using optical and atomic force microscopes. The results show that the corrosion rate of the CSRB in artificial concrete greatly increases with the existence of CO2 gas and highly depends on its concentration in the range 0.03 to 2.0% .No sign for pitting corrosion is recorded at all CO2 concentrations and the general corrosion is the main problem in the conditions under consideration.
The study aims to indicate the role of the agricultural initiative in building agricultural development, mediated by activation of the role of internal and external audit on agricultural initiative projects, for the purpose of meeting the challenges of abuses on agricultural land and lack of water used in agriculture and proportions of high poverty, which led to the rural people of the migration to the city and leave agriculture and livestock, and that of the main conclusions reached by the researcher. When comparing the work of the external auditing agencies (the Federal Office of Financial Supervision) on the initiative of agricultural projects with internal audit services in the Directorate of Agriculture and branches of the Agricultu

As a result, organisations no longer viewed it as a static objective but as an ever-evolving aim. From this vantage point, the research has explored the accounting literature in search of novel approaches to addressing the strategic dimensions of quality, cost and time. Getting them to respond positively to the customer’s requests also requires recognising their needs and controlling their impact on these dimensions. With the removal of operations that do not contribute any value to the product’s value chain and a reduction in manufacturing costs through continuous improvement, the ou

The current research used descriptive research design to investigate the potential applications of the AI tools that mediate civilizational conversation and a structured questionnaire to media professionals. AI-driven journalism can promote peaceful cohabitation and mutual respect and thus act as a bridge between cultures, the research said. The piece even goes on to mention the need for media establishments and civil soc

The results show the possibility of using CO2 and also Ar in low alloy steel welding with a little decrease in the shear force of not more than 13% for 4mm thickness and time 2sec. The shear force increased when using Ar instead of CO2 to be , The shear force reach 36KN when using Ar at 2mm thickness time of 8 sec and current of 220 Amp. , when used CO2 instead of Ar d

The present study aimed to characterize the nanocoating of highly pure (99.9%) niobium (Nb), tantalum (Ta), and vanadium (V) deposited on 316L stainless steel (SS) substrates which considered the most widely used alloys in the manufacturing of SS orthodontic components. To date, the coating of SS orthodontic archwires with Nb, Ta, and V using a plasma sputtering method has never been reported. Nanodeposition was performed using a DC plasma sputtering system with three different sputtering times (1, 2, and 3 hours). Results. Structural and elemental analyses were conducted on the deposited coating
