The research (The Aesthetics of Lumia Art in Contemporary Textile Arts: An Analytical Study) included four chapters, the first to explain the research problem summarized by the question: Does the art of Lumia achieve aesthetic values in contemporary textile arts?, and aims to: Identify the aesthetics of Lumia art and its applied uses in contemporary textile arts, within the time period (2013-2022). The third chapter included: research procedures and sample analysis (4) models according to the descriptive analytical approach, and the fourth chapter dealt with: results, conclusions and recommendations as well as sources.

Age and growth of Varicorhinus damascinus (Val.) in Tigris river at Salahuldin province have been investigated. Monthly samples were taken during the period from September 1999 to August 2000, using small-meshed gill nets. The age data showed that there were six age groups and the dominant age groups were (III – IV) for both sexes. The results of the present study revealed that the increment in length of V. damascinus at the sites of study showed a tendency to decrease with the increase in age, after the third year of life in both sexes.   In this study the faunistic of lady beetles (Coleoptera, Coccinellidae) was studied in Mehriz region (Yazd province) during 2009-2010. The total number of specimens of coccinellid beetles were collected from 6 different localities having altitudes from 1420-2420 m. Altogether 11 species from 8 genera, 3 tribes and 3 subfamilies were collected and identified. External characters plus characteristics male and female genitalia were used in order to diagnose species. Seven species were recorded for the first time from Yazd province (marked^*).
