One hundred isolates of Pseudomonas aeruginosa were obtained from patients admitted to Baghdad hospitals, Iraq during the period between May 2018 until July 2018. These isolates were distributed as 15 isolates from blood, 25 isolates from urinary tract infections, 10 isolates from sputum, 12 isolates from wounds, 15 isolates from ear infections, 15 isolates from bronchial wash of patients suffering from respiratory tract infections in addition to 8 isolates from cystic fibrosis patients. The effect of gamma rays on males and females ofCallasobruchus maculatus and Trogoderma granarium which were irradiated as 1-3 days old adults was investigated. The results revealed that the percent egg hatch for both pests was zero ,and average number of egg (34.2,21.5) for both pests respectively where their males where irradiated with 0.18 kGy and mated with unirradiated females. The optical properties for the components CuIn(SexTe1-x)2 thin films with both values of selenium content (x) [0.4 and 0.6] are studied. The films have been prepared by the vacuum thermal evaporation method with thickness of (250±5nm) on glass substrates. From the transmittance and absorbance spectra within the range of wavelength (400-900)nm, we determined the forbidden optical energy gap (Egopt) and the constant (B). One hundred and three blood samples were taken for people aged (20-68) years for the period from 10/1/2021 to 1/3/2022, divided into three groups. The first group included 44-person H. pylori-infected with symptoms of infection, the second group had 19-person H. pylori-infected but without symptoms, and the third group included 40 people without H. pylori infection. Excess molar volumes of five ternary mixtures of 2- methoxy ethanol(1) +butyl acetate(2)+benzene(3), +toluene(3), +chlorobenzene(3), +bromobenzene(3), and +nitrobenzene(3) have been measured at 303.15K. The excess molar volume exhibited positive deviation over the entire range of composition in the systems 2-methoxy ethanol(1)+ butyl acetate(2)+ benzene(3),+toluene(3) and sigmoid behavior in the case of the remaining systems. Flory's statistical theory have been extended to predict the excess molar volumes of the five ternary mixtures at 303.15 k over a wide range of composition . An excellent agreement has been found between the experimental and theoretical excess molar volumes , both in magnitude and sign .
