Different environmental and nutritional conditions were used to optimize biofilm formation using microtitre plate assay by P. aeruginosa. Histopathologically, it is characterized by mixed inflammatory infiltrate predominated by histiocytes, lymphocytes and eosinophils along with presence of scattered large atypical mononuclear cells.
