Experimental and theoretical investigations are presented on flocculation process in pulsator clarifier. Experimental system was designed to study the factors that affecting the performance of pulsator clarifier. These factors were water level in vacuum chamber which range from 60 to 150 cm , rising time of water in vacuum chamber which having times of 20,30 & 40 seconds , and sludge blanket height which having heights of 20,30 & 40 cm .The turbidity and pH of raw water used were 200 NTU and 8.13 respectively. The ability of using aluminum filings which is locally solid waste was tested as a mono media in gravity rapid filter. The present study was conducted to evaluate the effect of variation of influent water turbidity (10, 20and 30 NTU); flow rate(30, 40, and 60 l/hr) and bed height (30and60)cm on the performance of aluminum filings filter media for 5 hours run time and compare it with the conventional sand filter. The results indicated that aluminum filings filter showed better performance than sand filter in the removal of turbidity and in the reduction of head loss. This research examines how Al-Sabah newspaper addressed violations of women’s rights in Iraq. Using content analysis, a sample of 157 articles published from July 1, 2021, to December 31, 2021, was analyzed. The study reveals diverse journalistic treatments, with interpretive approaches employed in addressing violations of Iraqi women’s rights. Social violations of women’s rights were the primary focus, and various forms of newspaper articles, including opinion pieces, were commonly used.

The aim of the present research is to investigate the effecting of pH parameter on the feasibility of lead removal from simulated wastewater using an electrochemical system. Electrocoagulation method is one of electrochemical technology which is used widely to treat industrial wastewater. The present study was conducted to evaluate the effect of variation of influent raw water turbidity, bed composition, and filtration rate on the performance of mono (sand) and dual media (sand and anthracite) rapid gravity filters in response to the effluent filtered water turbidity and headloss development. In order to evaluate each filter pe1formance, sieve analysis was made to characterize both media and to determine the effective size and uniformity coefficient.
