          In this paper, the survival function has been estimated for the patients with lung cancer using different parametric estimation methods depending on sample for completing real data which explain the period of survival for patients who were ill with the lung cancer based on the diagnosis of disease or the entire of patients in a hospital for a time of two years (starting with 2012 to the end of 2013). Comparisons between the mentioned estimation methods has been performed using statistical indicator mean squares error, concluding that the estimation of the survival function for the lung cancer by using pre-test singles stage shrinkage estimator method was the best   . <

This study consists of two parts, field and experimental. In field part; cadmium concentrations were measured in soil and parsley Petroselinum crispum samples of five different agricultural areas in Baghdad city. These areas were located in Al-Rashdiah, Tounis quarter, Al-Shamasiah quarter, Al-Itaifiah and Al-Twaithah. Evaluate the acute and chronic toxicity of Ruta Chalepensis aerial part aqueous extract used in folk medicine in Iraq in Albino Wistar male and female rats. The study of chronic toxicity at the doses 100, 300 and 600mg/kg body weight in male and female rats for 90 days, recorded no mortality. Treated animals showed a normal weight change compared with control. The parameters of male fertility showed a significant decrease in the weight of testis, epididymis and seminal vesicle as well as a reduction in the number and the motility of spermatozoids at treated groups by the doses 300 and 600 mg/kg body weight compared to control group.

The present investigation revealed cytological variations for six species (Eruca sativa, Sisymbirium irio, Diplotaxis harra, Erucaria hispanica, Schimpera Arabica and Brassica tournefortii ) belong to the Brassicaceaefamily.The flower buds were collected from Al-Habania lake that located in Al-Anbar-Iraq. Using iron-acetocarmine squash technique in anther-smear studies which revealed a chromosomal anomalies such as Lagging/brddge chromosomes, Micronuclei & initiated delay of four daughter cells.The frequency of abnormalities ranged (0.04 - 0.77%) which indicated the unstable heredity source of most wildplants.
