Cyanobacteria are prokaryotic photosynthetic communities which are used in biofertilization of many plants especially rice plant. In this work three cyanobacteria strains (Nostoc calcicola, Anabaena variabilis, and Nostoc linkia) were isolated from saline soil at Kafr El-Sheikh Governorate; North Egypt.
