Effect of some induce chemical and biological agents against (Tilletia tritici (Bjerk) and T.laevis (Kühn) causal agents of wheat Common bunt disease

This study was conducted to evaluate the efficiency of some chemicals and biological agents to induce systemic resistance (ISR) against to wheat common bunt disease caused by the two species of fungus Tilletia tritici (Bjerk.) Wint (T. caries (Dac.) Tul.) and T. laevis Kuhn (T. foetida (Wall.) Liro. Trails in the efforts to find an alternative, safe and environmentally friendly means to control the disease. Results of this study which carried out during two consecutive seasons for the years 2012 - 2013 and 2013 - 2014 at two different environmental locations. Seed treatment by (SA 100 and 200 mg/L, 500 ?–aminobutyric acid (BABA) and 1000 mg/L, Effective Microorganisms (EM1) 40 and 150 ml/kg seeds) have led to high significant reduction in the percentage of common bunt compared with the control (plants resulting from the seeds contaminated non- treatment), While foliar treatment showed some significant differences, especially in the experiment carried out at the fields of College of Agriculture - Baghdad University compared with experiments carried out in the fields of Faculty of Agricultural Sciences -University of Sulaimania, which did not showed significant differences in most treatments. The treatment with Effective microorganisms was found efficient in reducing the infection rate compared with SA and BABA.

The Influence of The Interaction Between Urea and Super Phosphate Fertilizers on Some Morphological and Physiological Characteristics of Wheat


  An experiment was carried out by using pots in kalar horticulture station/ Sulaimani province on soil which is talken form on once region field in the seasoning growth(20062007). The Biological Effect of Rosmarinus officinelis L. Essential Oil on Biofilm Formation and Some Fimbrial Genes (fimH-1 and mrkD) of Klebseilla pneumoniae

Klebseilla pneumoniae possesses many virulence factors and survival strategies to persist and overcome host defenses; one of these strategies is biofilm formation. Therefore, the aims of this study was to determine the antibacterial and antibiofilm effect of Rosmarinus officinelis L. essential oil (EO) and its effect on the genes encoding of fimbrial adhesions. The antimicrobial activity was investigated by MIC. The ability to form biofilm as well as inhibition of initial cell attachment and biofilm formation was performed. The Effect of the Crude Terpenoids Compounds of Melia Azedrach Leaves and Fruits on Some Biological Aspects of Whitefly Bemisia tabaci

This study was carried out to determine the effects of crude terpenoid compound extracts of Melia azedarach L. leaves and fruits on some biological aspects of whitefly Bemisia tabaci (Genn.) under laboratory conditions of 25 ± 2°C and relative humidity of 65-70%. The results indicated a significant effect on eggs and immature stages when treated with 0.5, 1, 1.5, and 2 mg/ml of leaves and fruits. The mortality rate increased with concentration. It reached 98.68, 100, 100, 95.70, 86.30, and 42.68% for eggs, 1st, 2nd, and 3rd nymphal instars, pupa, and adults, respectively, at a concentration of 2 mg/ml for leaves extract. Evaluation of Thyroid Hormones and Some Biochemical Variables in Patients with Chronic Kidney Disease

Chronic kidney disease (CKD) is a permanent loss of kidney function which is diagnosed when the glomerular filtration rate (GFR) is under 60 ml\min\1.73m2 for more than three months. The present study was conducted at Kidney Transplant and Dialysis Center in the Medical City in Baghdad from October 2018 to April 2019. Sixty CKD patients with an age ranged of 40 to 65 years and 25 healthy subjects were involved in this study. Effect of Ph on the Growth and Survival of Juvenile Common Carp (Cyprinus Carpio L.)

Common carp ( Cyprinus carpio L.) juveniles  averaging 7.68± 0.25 - 8.12± 1.14 g in weight were  used for 6 weeks to investigate their survival and growth preferences. The experimented carp were stocked at 12 tanks formerly adjusted with different pH levels values as: 6.0, 7.0, 8.0 and 9.0.  Growth and survival of common carp was assessed every Sunday of each week. Growth rates significantly (P < 0.05 ) increased  at pH 7 and  pH8 respectively. Therefore, the results suggest that the water with pH ranged from 7 to 8 was the best range for growth performance and survival rate of carp. Evaluation of Trichoderma Harzianum Biological Control Against Fusarium Oxysporum F. Sp. Melongenae

The present study was conducted to biocontrol in vitro and in vivo of Fusarium
oxysporum that cause Fusarium wilt diseases for eggplant plants by using biological
control agent fungus Trichoderma harzianum. Fourteen isolates from F. oxysporum
were isolated and identified from two fields in Iraq. Pathogenicity test indicated that
all F. oxysporum isolates were pathogenic for eggplant but differed in its level of
pathogenicity. Four of the fourteen isolates from F. oxysporum were selected
depending on their highest pathogenicity for eggplant plants, F. oxysporum four
isolates F5, F6, F13 and F14 achieved at pre emergence 83.3%, 83.3%, 86.7% and
83.3% and at post emergence 90.0%, 90.0%, 83.3% and 76.7% respectively.
