The study included 100 children from Baghdad who were randomly selected from different regions ranging in age from 9-12 years of both males and females. This longitudinal study aimed to examine the prevalence of PTSD symptoms over time, the relationship between adult attachment styles and PTSD, as well as their association with degree of exposure, and finally to consider the distribution and the trajectory of attachment styles.
