The present work initiated to eaIuate the efficiency of Al-Rustamivah sewage treatment plant
as reflected by the quality of final effluent that is thrown to Di ala river. Weekly samples of
wastewater and final effluent were collected between November 1994 and end of January
1995 and analyzed for different chemical and biological features. Results ha e inidicated that
Al-Rustamiyah sewage treatment plant could not be able efficiently to purify the raw sewage.

In this work, thermodynamic efficiency of individual cell and stack of cells (two cells) has been computed by studying the variation of voltage produced during an operation time of 30 min as a result of the affected parameters:- stoichiometric feed ratio, flow field design on single cell and feed distribution on stack of cells. Experiment was conducted using clay pots at botanical garden of Department of Biology/ College of Education for Pure Science / Ibn –AL- Haitham, University of Baghdad during the growth season of (2013-2014).The experiment aimed to study the effect of NPK Zn fertilizer in (15-15-15-1)% with the levels 0.2, 0.4, 0.6 grams per five kilograms soil based on (80, 120, 240 kg per Hectare)in some of morphological characters and yield of Vigna radiatia. The results showed a significant increase in plant height, dry weight, biological yield, economic yield, weight of 100 seeds, harvest index, absolute growth rate (AGR) were all increased and amount of output compared with control plants.
