Abstract

     In this research, the morphology and mechanical properties of (Epoxy/PVC) blend were investigated.  (EP/PVC) blend was prepared by manual mixing of epoxy resin with different weight ratios of (Poly vinyl chloride (PVC) after dissolving it in cyclohexanon). Five sheets of polymer blends in wt% included (0%, 5%, 10%, 15% and 20%) of PVC were prepared at room temperature. Tests were carried out to study some mechanical properties for these blends and compared with the properties of pure epoxy. The morphology of the prepared materials was examined to study the compatibility nature between the two polymers under work. It was found that the best ratio of addition is (20%) of PVC.

Objective: The purpose of this work was to develop and optimize the emulgel formulation of piroxicam with two types of gelling agent chitosan and xanthan gum. The release profiles of prepared formulas were investigated. Nanocrystalline copper sulphide (Cu2-xS) powders were synthesized by chemical precipitation from their aqueous solutions composed of different molar ratio of copper sulfate dehydrate (CuSO4.5H2O) and thiorea (NH2)2CS as source of Cu+2, S-2 ions respectively, and sodium ethylene diamine tetra acetic acid dehydrate (EDTA) as a complex agent. The system was monitored for nine months and all the electricity generated was fed to the fifth floor for physics and renewable energy building   220 V, 50 Hz. Nanoferrite materials have been synthesized by sol-gel auto combustion method.
