Ternary semiconductors AB5C8 (A = Cu/Ag, B = In and C = S, Se or Te) have been investigated. The CuIn5S8 and AgIn5S8 have been synthesize in cubic spinel structure with space group (Fd3m), whereas CuIn5Se8, AgIn5Se8, CuIn5Te8 and AgIn5Te8 have tetragonal structures with space group P-42m. The relaxed crystal geometry, electrical properties such as electronic band structure and optoelectronic properties are predicted by using full potential method in this work. For the determination of relaxed crystal geometry, the gradient approximation (PBE-GGA) is used. This study was designed to investing the drug prescribing pattern which is the important point in the rational or irrational use of drugs among patients dispensing their prescriptions from the private pharmacies in Maysan governorate, Iraq for a period of 1 month. The data collected from prescriptions were calculated and analyzed according to the WHO prescribing guidelines. The data showed that the mean of drugs included in single prescription was 3.4, and 12% of prescribed drugs were written as generic names; moreover, the percentage of antibiotics, corticosteroids and anxiolytics were 33.3%, 11.4% and 23.8% respectively. L-arabinose isomerase from Escherichia coli O157:H7 Was immobilized with activated Bentonite from local markets of Baghdad, Iraq by 10% 3-APTES and treated with 10% aqueous glutaraldehyde, the results refer that the yield of immobilization was 89%, and pH profile of free and immobilized L-arabinose isomerase was 7 and 7.5 and it is stable at 6-8 for 60 min respectively, while, the optimum temperature was 30 and 35°C and it was stable at 35 and 40°C for 60 min but it loses more than 60 and 30% from its original activity at 50°C for free and immobilized L-arabinose isomerase respectively. Immobilized enzyme retained its full activity for 32 day, but it retained 73.58% of its original activity after storage for 60 d

Abstract: In the current research the absorption and fluorescence spectrum of Coumarin (334) and Rhodamine (590) in ethanol solvent at different concentration (10-3, 10-4, 10-5) M had been studied. The absorption intensity of these dyes increases as the Concentration increase in addition to that the spectrum was shifted towards the longer wavelength (red shift). The energy transfer process has been investigated after achievement this condition. The fluorescence peak intensity of donor molecule was decrease and its bandwidth will increases on the contrary of the acceptor molecule its intensity increase gradually and its bandwidth decreases as the acceptor concentration increase.
