The aqueous extract of milk thistle (Silybum marianum) leaves as a green corrosion inhibitor for AA7051 aluminum alloy in sodium hydroxide solution was investigated at a range of temperatures. Potentiodynamic polarization findings exhibit a mixed–type inhibitor with directly increased inhibition efficiency with the concentration of inhibitor. The adsorption of the inhibitor on aluminum alloy obeys Langmuir isotherm and the kinetic as well as thermodynamic parameters were measured and discussed.

Aqueous extract of poppy plant) Papaver nudicaule) with five concentrations (50, 100, 150, 200 and 250) mg/l were used to anesthetize fingerlings of the common carp Cyprinus carpio (Mean total length 8.91 ± 0.31 cm and mean total weight 7.72 ± 1.19 gm) instead of the traditional use of MS-222. Results showed that extracted solution of poppy have partial and overall anesthesia effect on these fishes with inverse relationship between the concentrations used and the time needed to reach partial and overall anesthesia, and also direct relationship between concentrations used and time needed for fish recovery. Best results were obtained by using a concentration of 250 mg/l, where time for partial anesthesia was 8 ± 1.52 m

The stochastic SIR dynamics are expressed using Itô's formula.     Lipase was extracted by Sodium acetate buffer (pH=6; 0.05M) Containing 0.1M NaCl. Enzyme content of crude extract was concentrated by gradual addition of ammonium sulfate at 30-60% saturation. The dialyzed extract was purified on ion-exchange chromatography through DEAE–Cellulose and gel-filtration chromatography through sephacryl S-200 column. The specific activity, enzyme yield and fold purification were 54.06 unit/mg, 42.6% and 10.88 respectively. The molecular weight of the Lipase was 43.651 KDa as determined by gel-filtration chromatography through sephacryl S-200 column.
