A simple, accurate and rapid method for separation and determination of most commonly usedinsecticides in Iraq [thiamethoxam (Thi), imidacloprid (Imi), indoxacarb (Ind), and abamectin (Aba)] ispresented. The separation was performed by gradient reversed-phase high performance liquidchromatography on a C18 stationary phase column. The method was developed and validated. The-1mobile phase was a mixture of acetonitrile and water using gradient flow. The flow rate was 1.0 mL min .The optimum temperature of separation was 25 ºC. The detection was performed at multiple wavelengths.The analysis time was up to 10.5 minutes with retention times of 3.221, 3.854, 6.385, and 9.452 min for-1the studied insecticides. This study has been done on plant [Adhatoda vasicia , Acanthaceae family],which has been collected from gardens of university of Baghdad The leaves of plant were extracted by methanol alcohol obtain the crude extraction good ratio(30%).Eighty swabs or samples were collected from several wounds patients of hospitals in Baghdad city.These swabs were cultured on blood and MacConkey ager to isolate bacteria and identified by appearance and bio chemical tests.The results showed that(60)somples were positive(75%)for tests bacteria white the other(20)swabs were negative(25%).The bacteria were identified as Pseudomonas aeruginosa ,Staphylococcus awreus , Esherichia coli,Proteus spp and Klebsiella spp; and their number percentage were(32)isolates(

Econazole nitrate (EN) is considered as the most effective agent for the treatment of all forms of
dermatomycosis caused by dermatophytes. This study was carried out to formulate a stable
Econazole nitrate solution for a topical use through preparation of different formulas and selected
the most suitable one. The results indicated that the use of propylene glycol and ethanol as a vehicle
for EN which is very slightly soluble in water gave amore stable formula as EN topical solution,
with a shelf life of about 3.15 years .The data also indicated that the light accelerated the
degradation of EN, while the type of container (glass or plastic) had no effect on the rate of drug.
