Objective:This study aimed to identify the effect of restricted training on some motor abilities and offensive skills of youth football players under 19 years old Research methodology:The researchers used the experimental method with two equivalent groups (experimental and control). The research sample consisted of 26 players from Al-Zawraa Sports Club (U-19), divided into an experimental group (13 players) and a control group (13 players). The experimental group performed a restricted training program for eight weeks, with three training sessions per week, while the control group continued with the regular training program. Several tests were used to measure the study variables, including the Ronaldo Speed Test (dribbling and shooting), skill performance test, 10-m acceleration test, Illinois agility test, and response speed test. Results: The results showed significant improvements in all variables for the experimental group between the pre- and post-tests. In addition, significant differences were found in the post-tests between the two groups in favor of the experimental group in most variables. Conclusions: The study concluded that restricted training has a positive effect on developing certain motor abilities and offensive skills in youth football players under 19 years old.
The effectiveness of upward training with weights to develop explosive power, characterized by speed and some functional variables for young volleyball players Many efforts of sports laboratories in various countries have been devoted to laying scientific foundations and rules in caring for the physical, skilled, planning, and psychological preparation of players and creating the conditions and requirements for reaching players to higher standards. The research aims to:1- Preparing an ascending training program with weights to develop explosive strength, which is characterized by speed and some functional variables for volleyball players.2- Identify the effect of the training program with upward training in weights to develop explosive stre

Show MoreThe game of futsal requires physical and motor abilities in order to perform it, as these abilities play a fundamental role in making the player have a wonderful physical level and be able to implement the skill aspect of futsal football, especially the scoring skill, which is the subject of the study. The importance of the research lies in arriving at knowledge of the percentage The contribution of some physical and motor abilities to the performance of the scoring skill in indoor soccer, in order to reach final scientific results that serve researchers, coaches, and players alike. The research aims to identify the most important physical and motor abilities of young players in futsal football, and to identify the percentage of contributio

Show MoreWe discussed the proper preparation, directing, and implementation of physical education lessons, and clarification of the duties that fall upon the physical education teacher in addition to his physical and skill duties, which is the duty of the physical education lesson. The problem of the research lies in the fact that interactive harmonic exercises are not implemented accurately by physical education teachers because they require great experience, exceptional efforts, and accuracy in performance. The research aims to identify the level of some physical and motor abilities and intelligence among students aged (9-10) years, and to know the effect of some harmonic exercises. Interactivity at the level of some physical and motor abi

If training continues for more than an hour causing fatigue, athletes are advised to drink carbohydrate drinks that quickly convert to glucose in the blood, while sodium should be included in the fluids consumed during exercise or matches that last more than (1-2 hours). The effect of drinking a drink containing 12% carbohydrates and electrolytes before each half of a simul

Objective: The purpose of this research is to investigate the possibility of using artificial neural networks to determine the physical and motor abilities of football players and determine their suitable playing positions based on exact quantitative indicators. Method: The study sample consists of 45 youth players aged (15–16) years from the Espanyol Football Academy in Baghdad. The results are analyzed using a multilayer perceptron (MLP) artificial neural network model to ident

Show MoreThe significance of the study lies in identifying a scientific and objective indicator that clarifies the extent to which key cognitive and visual abilities contribute to skill performance in tennis. This enables coaches and instructors to design scientifically based educational and training units that incorporate these abilities according to their level of contribution, thereby positively impacting technical performance. The abundance of stimuli in tennis and the difficulty of controlling performance, due to the sport's ongoing developments, require a high level of cognitive and visual abilities. The researchers aimed to examine the problem of inadequate organization in educational content, where one aspect is emphasized over other

The researcher used the descriptive approach in investigating the relationship between neuromuscular coordination and setting and spiking skills. The sample of the research was selective and composed of 45 youth players of the Specialized Football Tennis School in Baghdad Province with age of 16 years and above. The research sample was subjected to the relevant tests and the results obtained analyzed statistically to establish whether there is a relationship between neuromuscular coordination and setting skill on the one hand and neuromuscular coordination and spiking skill on t
