the Iraqi plant Alhagi graecorum (family Leguminosae) which was
given to patients with different dental diseases and gave successful
results In this investigation , the amount of rutin is determined and was
found to be 4mg/100gm of the dried plant and it is equivalent to
4mg/500ml (0.8mg/100ml) of the mouthwash formula which was

Beta-carotene pigment was extracted from 6 strains collected from different sources related to some species of the genus Rhodotorula sp. The maximum productivity was in the strain Rhodotorula  mucilaginosa BA61 with amount 10.25 gm/l. The minimum productivity was from the strain R. minuta BA78 with amount 5.39 gm/l.    The cytotoxic effect of different concentrations of Crude extracts of  Solanum melongena  , Curcuma longa and  Daucus carota  on  mice mammary adenocarcinoma cell line was  studied .
