Methodology: A descriptive study was carried out at two Teaching Hospitals with kidney transplant

clinics for ( RTRS) ,and three Teaching
Hospitals; Medical city, Al-Karama and Al-Yermok which were responsible for immunosuppressive

2006 to the end of July 2007.To achieve the objectives
of study, a non-probability (purposive) sample of 150 ( RTRS) who were attending to the outpatient

This study evaluates 22 patients with retained foreign bodies in the maxillofacial region that were all caused by penetrating missile injuries. Surgical intervention for the retrieval of the foreign bodies was carried out in 20 patients through the existing wounds and through separate incisions; all patients were followed up for a minimum of 2 months during which all the complications were registered and managed. Materials and methods: MDN crystal formation was optimized using a closed container method and crystals were characterized using polarized light microscope (PLM), scanning electron microscopy (SEM) and confocal microscopy (CM).
