X-rays fluorescence technology was used  to measure the concentrations of trace and toxic elements in tobacco smoke. One sample local and eight samples were imported selected from Iraqi markets. Carbohydrate antigen 19-9 (CA 19-9) levels were measured in sera and tissues of 40 patients with breast cancer (01), 8 patients with prostate cancer (G2)and 12 patients with thyroid cancer (G3), by the enzyme­ linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA) technique.
