This study includes isolation , purification and identification of algae from different
aquatic environments in Baghdad.
Two different plant species belonging to different families were selected which were
Citrilluscolocynthus and Cordiamyxa for their fruits and fruits samples respectively.
Crude extracts were extracted from each plant and their antialgal activity were
evaluated.Different concentrations (5,15,25) mg/ml of these extracts were prepared
and their antagonistic activity was studied, and the resulted inhibition effects in ( %)
of concentration of chlorophyll(a) after 12 days was evaluated.

In the current study, three types of algae namely Tetradesmus nygaardi (MZ801740), Scenedesmus quadricauda (MZ801741) and Coelastrella sp (MZ801742) were extracted by 95% ethanol and hexane against two types of gram positive and two types of gram negative bacteria by wells diffusion methods. Transmission and absorption spectra have recorded in order to study the effect of increasing thickness on some optical parameter such as reflectance, refractive index , and dielectric constant in its two parts . Psoriasis is a common, chronic, immune-mediated skin disease with systemic pro-inflammatory activation.  This study was designed to estimate the level of two cytokines, Interleukin-36 (IL-36) and Interleukin-10 (IL-10), in psoriasis female patients. The study was accomplished on 50 Iraqi patients with psoriasis who were referred to the consulting clinic at Al-Yarmouk Teaching Hospital during the period from November 2018 to March 2019. These patients were diagnosed under the supervision of dermatologists. For the purpose of comparison, the study included 30 healthy women as a healthy control group. The local study were selected 70 Iraqi Arab Patients (39 females and 31 males), who referred to HLA laboratory in teaching laboratories in Baghdad medical city from April 2009 – May 2010 were diagnosed with Behcete's disease, C-reactive protein concentration(CRP) was evaluated by ELISA technique, anti-nuclear antibody (ANA) and anti-neutrophil cytoplasmic antibody (ANCA) were evaluated by Indirect immunofluorescence technology. In this work 2-mercaptobenzoxazole (2-MBO) (1), was prepared by using homemade Auto clave .The synthesis involve treatment of 2-MBO with 2-chloro acetyl chloride to give 2-chloroacetyl thio benzoxazole (2), the product was treated with phenyl hydrazine to give 2-phenyl hydrazide acetyl thio benzoxazole (3). The new derivatives (4-13) were synthesized by reaction of 2-phenyl hydrazide acetyl thio benzoxazole (3) with different aromatic aldehydes in the presence of acetic acid. The compound (2) was treated with hydrazine hydrate to give product (14) then treated with different aromatic aldehydes in the presence of glacial acetic acid to give Schiff bases derivatives (15-24).
