The present research was conducted to investigate the effectiveness of a training program to improve some aspects of sensory integration disorder and its effect on self-direction among a sample of children with intellectual disabilities. The composition of the clay taken from the lake of Hamrin, Iraq was studied with the determination of the concentrations of the major oxides and the minor oxides in it.   Kaolinite was the most dominant clay in the samples, while quartz was the most abundant non-clay mineral.

These estimations were established following experimental measurements of absorption and fluorescence spectra for the solutions of fluorescein laser dye mixed with titanium dioxide (TiO2) nanoparticles
