    Seven Zn-dithiocarbamate complexes were suggested as corrosion inhibitors. Density functional theory (DFT) was used to predict the ability of inhibition. Room temperature conditions were applied to suggest the optimization of complexes, physical properties, and corrosion parameters. In addition, the HOMO, LUMO, dipole moment, energy gap, and other parameters were used to compare the inhibitors efficiency. Gaussian 09 software with LanL2DZ basis set was used. Total electron density (TED) and electrostatic surface potential (ESP) were utilized to show the sites of adsorption according to electron density.

Thin films of Mn2O3 doped with Cu have been fabricated using the simplest and cheapest chemical spray pyrolysis technique onto a glass substrate heated up to 250 oC. Transmittance and absorptance spectra were studied in the wavelength range (300 -1100) nm. The average transmittance at low energy was about 60% and decrease with Cu doping, Optical constants like refractive index, extinction coefficient and dielectric constants (εr), (εi) are calculated and correlated with doping process.

In this study, the ZnTe thin films were deposited on a glass substrate at a thickness of 400nm using vacuum evaporation technique (2×10^-5mbar) at RT. Electrical conductivity and Hall effect measurements have been investigated as a function of variation of the doping ratios (3,5,7%) of the Cu element on the thin ZnTe films. The temperature range of (25-200°C) is to record the electrical conductivity values. This study rigorously investigates three 3d transition metal carbide (TMC) structures via LDA and GGA approximations. It examines cohesive energy (Ecoh), Vickers hardness (Hv), mechanical stability, and electronic properties. Notably, most 3d TMCs exhibit higher cohesive energy than nitrides, and rs-TiC demonstrates a Vickers hardness of 25.66 GPa, outperforming its nitride counterpart.
