The synthesis and characterization of new complexes of Cr(III), Fe(III), Co(II), Ni(II), Cu(II) and Zn(II) with bidentate [L1: 2-phenyl-2-(p-tolylamino) acetonitrile] and [L2: 2-phenyl-2-(phenylamino) acetonitrile] ligands has been described. Many new heterocyclic compounds including 4-thiazolidinones containing indole with triazole units were described. The new Schiff bases [VII] a, b and [VIII] a, b synthesized by condensation acid hydrazides [II],[VI] with different (aromatic) aldehydes in absolute ethanol. A new series of N-acyl hydrazones (4a-g) derived from indole-3-propionic acid (IPA) were synthesized. These N-acyl hydrazones were prepared by the reaction of 3-(1H-indol-3-yl) propane hydrazide and aldehyde in the existence of glacial acetic acid as a catalyst. ¹HNMR and FT-IR analyses were used to identify the synthesized compounds and they were in vitro evaluated as antibacterial agents against six different types of microorganisms by using well diffusion method.                The new symmetry pyromellitdiimide [VII]_a-c,n  were synthesized by two-step reactions from the corresponding pyromellitic dianhydride . A new symmetrical amic acid [VI]_a-c,n was synthesized by the reaction of pyromellitic dianhydride with different heterocyclic amines in dry acetone . The second reaction step includes  intramolecular cyclization of amic acid in the presence of  sodium acetate -acetic anhydride system at 85⁰C. Structures  of  the synthesized compounds have been ascertained by their melting points , C.H.N analysis , UV-Vis, FTIR and ¹HNMR spectroscopy.

Nanocrystalline micro-mesoporous ZSM/MCM-41 composite was synthesized using alkaline treatment method and two step of crystallization in poly tetraflouroethylene (PTFE) lined autoclave. The synthesized zeolites was characterized by X-Ray diffraction (XRD), Scanning electron microscopy (SEM), Transmission electron microscopy (TEM), Atomic force microscopy (AFM), Fourier transport infrared (FTIR), and N₂ adsorption-desorption (BET). It was approved that the best results for alkaline leaching can be got with 1.5M NaOH solution. High surface (BET) area of 630 m²/g with pore volume of 0.55 cm³/g has been got. AFM reports showed a nano-level size for average particle size of 50nm.

A new Schiff base of HL has been synthesized from amoxicillin drug and 4- Chlorobenzophenone. Cr (III), Fe (III), Co (II), Ni (II), Cu (II), Cd (II) and Hg (II) mixed ligands complexes of Schiff base and Nicotinamide. Diagnosis of synthesis ligand and its complexes are done by 1HNMR, 13CNMR and thermal analysis for HL ligand, FTIR, UV-visible, molar conductance, CHN analysis, magnetic susceptility and atomic absorption. Octahedral geometries have been suggested for all complexes. All compounds under study were tested antimicrobial activity against four type of bacteria such as Pseudomonas aeruginosa, Escherichia coli, Staphylococcus aureus Bacillis subtilis in nutrient agar.
