A new gravity and seismic survey along a profile length (70 Km) carried out at the area of exploration Block- 11 in Al- Najaf desert, southwest Iraq. The obtained gravity and seismic value compared with the previous available data that achieved by IPC and OEC for gravity and seismic data respectively. The influence of fiber orientation and water absorption on fatigue crack growth resistance for cold cure acrylic (PMMA) reinforced by chopped and woven -glass-fibers were investigated. A weight of 2 g for chopped fibers and the same weight for woven -glass-fibers (one layer) were used to prepare samples. Some of these samples would storage in dry condition; the others were immersed in water for 15 days. Fatigue test was carried out. The results shows that, for PMMA, the initial bending stress for dry specimen was 3.392 N/cm2 and the number of cycles were 1364, the initial bending stress for wet samples was 4.20 N/cm2, and the number of cycles was 2411.      CdSe/CdS Core/shell nanostructures were prepared through the chemical synthesis method. XRD ,FESEM and TEM investigations confirmed the formation of core/shell structure for the sample. The AFM measurement was employed to reveal the morphology of the prepared thin films. Optical characterizations of the quantum dots were done by UV-visible and photoluminescence spectra. It was found that the quantum dots prepared has  good optical properties. Due to the presence of shell coating on core CdSe, the energy gap of the core/shell nanomaterial were increased from 2.2 to 2.3eV. The resulted QDs  are a promising candidate for photovoltaic and biosensor applications.

In this paper, the impact of magnetic force, rotation, and nonlinear heat radiation on the peristaltic flow of a hybrid bio -nanofluids through a symmetric channel are investigated. Under the assumption of a low Reynolds number and a long wavelength, the exact solution of the expression for stream function, velocity, heat transfer coefficient, induced magnetic field, magnetic force, and temperature are obtained by using the Adomian decomposition method. The findings show that the magnetic force contours improve when the magnitude of the Hartmann number M is high and decreases when rotation increases. Baghdad Metro is a vital project to fulfill the rapidly increased traffic volume requirements. The proposed metro will connect both sides of Baghdad City, passing under the Tigris River. This study is employed finite elements software (PLAXIS 3D) to evaluate the seepage force developed around the sub-river segment during different construction stages and for other water levels of Tigris. The study found that when the water level changes from maximum to minimum, the developed seepage force decreases by (8 to 13%) and (22 to 27%) respectively.
