The aim of this investigation was to study the impact of various reaction parameters on wastewater taken from Al-Wathba water treatment plant on Tigris River in south of Baghdad, Iraq with sodium hypochlorite solution. The parameters studied were sodium hypochlorite dose, contact time, initial fecal coliform bacteria concentration, temperature, and pH. In a batch reactor, different concentrations of sodium hypochlorite solution were used to disinfect 1L of water.   This study was designed to investigate the effects of licorice extract (Glycyrrhiza glabra L.) addition to semen diluters on ram sperm progressive motility during storage at 5 ËšC for 72 h. Semen was collected from 3 proven Awassi rams. Licorice extract powder was added at levels of 1, 5, 10, 50 and 100 µg per ml. of diluter. Diluter containing no licorice extracts served as control (0).Progressive motility was estimated subjectively after dilution (0h), and at 24, 48, and 72 h of storage. The experiment was replicated 2 times with egg yolk-tris (EYT) diluter and 2 times with yolk- glucose-citrate diluter. The aim of the currnet study to examine the effect of subclinical hypothyroidism (SCH) in diabetic patients on coagulation parameters. This retrospective case–control study involves 130 patients diagnosed with type 2 diabetes mellitus (T2DM), divided into 65 T2DM with newly diagnosed SCH and 65 euthyroid (EUT) T2DM patients without SCH. Fibrinogen (FIB) was significantly higher in SCH (508.2 ± 63.0 mg/dL) than EUT (428.1 ± 44.8 mg/dL). In the SCH patients, FIB correlated with several parameters, such as age (β = 0.396), body mass index (β = 0.578), glycated hemoglobin (β = 0.281), and activated partial thromboplastin time (β = 0.276). In conclusion SCH in DM patients appears to increase the magnitude of coagulopathy.

In this paper, the impact of magnetic force, rotation, and nonlinear heat radiation on the peristaltic flow of a hybrid bio -nanofluids through a symmetric channel are investigated. Under the assumption of a low Reynolds number and a long wavelength, the exact solution of the expression for stream function, velocity, heat transfer coefficient, induced magnetic field, magnetic force, and temperature are obtained by using the Adomian decomposition method. The findings show that the magnetic force contours improve when the magnitude of the Hartmann number M is high and decreases when rotation increases.
