The statistical test was applied to annual monthly mean of temperatures for the period (19932009). The values of S-statistic were (62, 44, 52, 64) by comparing these values with the table of null probability values for S we get a probability of (0.002, 0.026, 0.010, 0.002) this result is less than α for the 95% confidence level (α = 0.05) indicating a significant result at this level of confidence.    Petioles of nine species and four subspecies for Scutellaria L. which are growing wildly in Iraq were studied anatomically. Systmatic importance for the cross sections of those petioles were found. The winged petioles were seen in all taxa but they were different in their shapes , some of them U – shaped but they were semi ellipsoid in others , also they were different in their numbers of vascular bundles in the wings , and the shapes of central vascular bundles , so those  taxa were divided into groups .

   This study was carried out to study the tolerance degree of wheat Triticum aestivum L. C. V. AL-Fateh to NaCl (0,20,50,70,100) mM by using CaSO4 (1,5,10) mM in hydroponic culture.  The results showed that the adverse effect of NaCl on some growth parameters such as chlorophyll concentration , soluble carbohydrates and protein content in shoot and root systems were increased with increase of NaCl concentration in growth medium , But these effects are reduced  by using CaSo4 to ellivate the stress of NaCl .
