The primary objective of this study is to examine the effects of a do-it-yourself (DIY) technique on the reading comprehension performance of fifth-grade students in preparatory schools. In order to accomplish the objective of this research, it is posited that a null hypothesis can be established, suggesting that there are no statistically significant disparities between the average scores of the experimental group, which is instructed using a do-it-yourself (DIY) strategy, and the control groups, which are instructed using a prescribed method, in terms of their reading comprehension attainment. Developing a pre- and post-achievement test. Both groups have been equalized in terms of characteristics such as parental educational level, English achievement scores in the previous academic year, and the pre-test scores of both groups. A set of five questions has been prepared to provide a post-test. The Alpha-Cronbach method was employed to validate the reliability coefficient. The discriminatory power and level of difficulty for each item have been ascertained through statistical analysis of the items. As a consequence, the complete sample has been subjected to the post-test. The data collected from the post-test results has been subjected to statistical analysis using the formula for the T-test of two independent samples. Based on the findings, a statistically significant disparity is observed in the mean scores between the experimental group, which received instruction using the DIY strategy, and the control group, which received instruction through the traditional manner. The study's findings and conclusions have led to the formulation of relevant recommendations and proposals for future research endeavors.
Silymarin is derived from the milk thistle plant, and possesses numerous pharmacological actions, including hepatoprotective, anti-inflammatory, antioxidant, and anticancer properties. The aim of the study was to the determination of influence different concentrations of Silymarin on the rumen performance in 30 local lambs (divided into three groups of 10 lambs each). In the first and second groups, 420 and 210 mg kg-1 of silymarin were administered for 8 weeks, and the third group was the control, which received normal saline solution. In vivo study revealed that ZnO nanoparticles treatment of Streptococcus SPP contaminated injured skin showed good prognosis and good healing process include complete regeneration of the epithelial cells of the epidermis and increase of cellulartiy of the dermal content compared with untreated group. In conclusion, treatment of S. pyogenes infected skin with Zinc oxide nanoparticles concentration (2 mg/ml) limit the skin damage and localized the lesion to the incision site with good healing process

Hemipteran species of alfalfa plant surveyed in Abu Ghraib, Baghdad during the months of April, May and October of 2010. The study was registered, eight species belonging to eight genera and six families. The results showed that Deracoris sp. Kirschbaum,1855 and Campylomma diversicornis Reuter, 1878 the most abundant species while Lygaeus pandurus Scop. and Pyrrhocorius apterus (Linnaeus 1758) were the lowest during the study period.

Nutrient enrichment of Sawa lake water was made using different nitrogen and phosphorus concentrations during autumn and spring at three stations. Different concentrations of nitrogen, phosphorus and N: P ratios were used to test variations in phytoplankton population dynamics. Nitrogen at a concentration of 25 µmole.l-1 and N: P ratio of 10:1 gave highest phytoplankton cell number at all stations and seasons. A total of 64 algal taxa dominated by Bacillariophyceae followed by Cyanophyceae and Chlorophyceae were identified. The values of Shannon index of diversity were more than one in the studied stations.
