The experiment aimed to Manufacture a device for checking the nozzles and testing its efficiency and to study the effect of research factors on the studied traits. The device was manufactured locally through using materials available in the Iraqi market. The system is Both Hydraulic and electronic (ISO 5682-1)1 relay on sensors technology and the test platform was built and designed on a movable trolly at the department of Agricultural Machines and Equipment / College of Agricultural Science / University of Baghdad. The design includes the use of mechanical water pump and electrical AC water pump. The design includes a nozzle holder that can accommodate three nozzles per test. The design also consists of spreading wings and stationary wing that can accommodate 50 vessels and 50 ultra-sonic sensors. All that is controlled by a main control unit which consists of three branch modules (each one of them is responsible to collect and analyze data from several sensors on each of the wings. The idea behind the design is to merge between actual spraying and the use of electronic sensors to analyze the size of the sprayed liquid in each of the vessels, the concept of the design is based upon Volumetric distribution of the liquid. The concept of the device was based on using ultra sonic sensors to measure the volumetric distribution of liquids. The experiment aimed to determine the effects of these factors on flow rate, spraying angle, sprayed area, spraying swath, volumetric distribution (CV), and symmetry. The experiment was conducted at the college of Agricultural science, Baghdad University. The results showed that the spraying pressure had a non-significant effect on flow rate. However, increasing the pressure from 3.0 to 5.0 and then to 7.0 bar resulted in flow rates of 1.314, 1.286, and 1.36 l/m, respectively. The status of the nozzle (new or worn) did not significantly affect the flow rate, with new nozzles registering a slightly higher flow rate of 1.327 l/m compared to worn nozzles (1.312 l/m). On the other hand, the type of nozzle had a significant impact on flow rate, with plastic, brass, and steel nozzles registering flow rates of 1.243, 1.422, and 1.29 l/m, respectively. Regarding the spraying angle, the results indicated that the spraying pressure had a significant effect. Increasing the pressure from 3.0 to 5.0 and then to 7.0 bar resulted in spraying angles of 132, 132, and 136 degrees, respectively. The nozzle status significantly affected the spraying angle, with worn nozzles resulting in a higher angle of 137 degrees compared to new nozzles (130 degrees). However, the type of nozzle did not significantly affect the spraying angle. For the sprayed area, the spraying pressure had a significant effect, with higher pressures resulting in larger sprayed areas. Worn nozzles also significantly increased the sprayed area compared to new nozzles. The type of nozzle had a significant impact on the sprayed area, with plastic, brass, and steel nozzles resulting in areas of 70.4, 80.44, and 89.16 cm2, respectively. The experiment proved that nozzles must be tested periodically, otherwise they start to perform beyond the parameters they were designed to perform with.
This work presents experimental research using draped prestressed steel strands to improve the load-carrying capacity of prestressed concrete non-prismatic beams with multiple openings of various designs. The short-term deflection of non-prismatic prestressed concrete beams (NPCBs) flexural members under static loading were used to evaluate this improvement. Six simply supported (NPCBs) beams, five beams with openings, and one solid specimen used as a reference beam were all tested as part of the experiment. All of the beams were subjected to a monotonic midpoint load test. The configuration of the opening (quadrilateral or circular), as well as the depth of the chords, were the varia
Four rapid, accurate and very simple derivative spectrophotometric techniques were developed for the quantitative determination of binary mixtures of estradiol (E2) and progesterone (PRG) formulated as a capsule. Method I is the first derivative zero-crossing technique, derivative amplitudes were detected at the zero-crossing wavelength of 239.27 and 292.51 nm for the quantification of estradiol and 249.19 nm for Progesterone. Method II is ratio subtraction, progesterone was determined at λmax 240 nm after subtraction of interference exerted by estradiol. Method III is modified amplitude subtraction, which was established using derivative spectroscopy and mathematical manipulations. Method IIII is the absorbance ratio technique, absorba

These elements impose more resistance to the flow. The geometry of the roughness elements, the numbers used, and the configuration are parameters that can affect the hydraulic flow characteristics. The target is to use inclined block elements to control the salt wedge propagation pointed in most estuaries to prevent its negative effects. The Computational Fluid Dynamics CFD Software was used to simulate the two-phase flow in an estuary model. In this model, the used block elements are 2 cm by 3 cm cross-sections with an inclined face in the flow direction, with a length

This study was aimed to investigate the effect of different durations of heat treatment on the surface properties of titanium alloy for dental implants. Materials and methods: Twenty disks of (Ti-6Al-4V) alloy were prepared. The sample was divided into four test groups to study the effect of different duration of heat treatment to the surface topography; surface chemistry, titanium oxide layer thickness, blood contact angle, & blood drop diameter of titanium alloy samples were investigated to evaluate the effect of different durations of

Spectroscopy kinetics fluorescence curves are fitted for two characteristic wavelength domains of fluorescent intensities. The short wavelengths (320-400 nm) domain show spectra overlapping, while at long wavelengths (400-800 nm) domain spectra are arranged in regular for each specific accelerated aging time. The ratio of kinetics rate constant at long wavelengths to kinetics rate constant of short wavelengths is the criterion of the degree chemical structure deformation. Molar extrin

Specifically female teachers because of the pressures they suffer because of the nature of this profession. It may develop into anger outburst, which may cause irrational thinking arose as a result of the different situations they are going through. The sample of the program consisted of (12) teachers in Egypt, from different educational sectors. The researcher intended to clarify the emotion of anger and the irrational thoughts associated with it and the contribution of the selective counseling program in modifying those irrational thinking. Show MoreThis study evaluated the extent to which obturation materials bypass fractured endodontic instruments positioned in the middle and apical thirds of severely curved simulated root canals using different obturation techniques. Sixty resin blocks with simulated root canals were used, each with a 50° curvature, a 6.5 mm radius of curvature, and a length of 16.5 mm, prepared to an ISO #15 diameter and taper. Canals were shaped using ProTaper Universal files (Dentsply Maillefer) attached to an X-smart Plus endo motor (Dentsply), set at 3.5 Ncm torque and 250 rpm, up to size S2 at working length. To simulate fractures, F2 and F3 files were weakened 3 mm from the tip, then twisted to break in the apical and middle sections of the canal, re

The specialized Journalism deserves vigilance and interest for it is caring about having a new media system. It is meant by “specialization”, first: identifying the areas of work in which the person concerned possesses great knowledge in the specialty resulting from a long experience, it also means being able to continuously develop required skills in that specialty. The specialization is not only a feature of the press, but also a feature of human development; thousands of years ago, the primitive society consisted of people from different specializations: fishermen, farmers, her
