Metal-organic frameworks (MOFs) are a relatively new class of materials of unique porous structures and exceptional properties. In this research, an organobentonite (HDTMA-BT) was prepared by modifying a jordanian bentonite (BT) with hexadecyltrimethylammonium bromide.
