Chloroacetamide derivatives (2a-g) have been prepared through reaction of chloroacetyl chloride(1) (which prepared by the reaction of chloroacetic acid with thionyl chloride) with primary aromatic amines and sulfa compounds to afford compounds (2a-g) which then reacted with p-hydroxy benzaldehyde via Williamson reaction to obtaine the new compounds 2-(4-formyl phenoxy)-N-aryl acetamide (3a-g). Finally , compounds (3a-g) will be use as a good synthon to prepare the Schiff bases represented by compounds 2-(4-aryliminophenoxy)-N-arylacetamide (4a-g). through , reaction with some primary aromatic amine. All the prepared compounds were investigated by the available physical and spectroscopic methods.

   In this paper, Mann-Kendall test was used to investigate the existence of possible deterministic and stochastic climatic trends in (Baghdad,Basrah,Mosul,Al-Qaim) stations. The statistical test was applied to annual monthly mean of temperatures for the period (19932009).          This study involves the design of 24 mixtures of fiber reinforced magnetic reactive powder concrete containing nano silica. Tap water was used for 12 of these mixtures, while magnetic water was used for the others. The nano silica (NS) with ratios (1, 1.5, 2, 2.5 and 3) % by weight of cement, were used for all the mixtures.  Out of 120 isolates from different clinical cases, only 75 were found and confirmed that they belong to the Pseudomonas aeruginosa bacteria. The result revealed that the LasB virulent gene was present in 63 isolates with 63% percentage. The gel electrophoresis showed that the molecular weight of LasB gene was 300 bp. DNA sequences of LasB gene was done, and the results showed the presence of some gene mutations like substitution, addition and deletion with 97% identity with the Refseq gene. From the other side, the results of identities of translated nucleotides sequence with the original sequence of amino acids revealed that there are no effects of gene mutations on translation of the product protein.
