The ground-state properties of exotic ¹⁸N and ²⁰F nuclei, including the neutron, proton and matter densities and related  radii are investigated using the two-body model of   within Gaussian (GS) and Woods Saxon (WS) wave functions. The long tail is evident in the computed neutron and matter densities of these nuclei. The plane wave Born approximation (PWBA) is  calculate the elastic form factors of these exotic nuclei. A new ligand ( 4- methoxy benzoyl ) carbamothioyl ) Glycine (MCG) is synthesized by reaction of (4- methoxy benzoyl isothiocyanate) with Glycine(1:1). It is characterized by micro elemental analysis (C.H.N.S.), FT-IR, (UV-Vis) and 1H and 13CNMR spectra. Some metals ions complexes of this ligand were prepared and characterized byFT-IR,UV-Visible spectra, conductivity measurements, magnetic susceptibility and atomic absorption. From results obtained, the following formula [M(MCG)2] where M2+ = Mn, Co, Ni, Cu, Zn, , Cd and Hg, the proposed molecular structure for these complexes as tetrahedral geometry, except copper complex is has square planer geometry.

The antimicrobial activity of ginger extracts ( cold-water, hot-water, ethanolic and essential oil ) against some of pathogenic bacteria ( Escherichia coli , Salmonella sp , Klebsiella sp , Serratia marcescens, Vibrio cholerae , Staphylococcus aureus , Streptococcus sp) was investigated using Disc diffusion method , and the results were compared with the antimicrobial activity of 12 antibiotics on the same bacteria . The results showed that the ginger extracts were more effective on gram-positive bacteria than gram-negative .
