A numerical method for the calculation of the three-dimensional wake rollup behind symmetric wings with ground effect and its aerodynamic characteristics for steady low subsonic flow have been developed. A non-planar quadrilateral vortex-ring method with vortex wake relaxation iterative scheme for lifting surfaces is obtained. A computer program was build to treat wings with breaks, span wise trailing edge flaps, local dihedral angle, camber, twist and ground effect. Forces and moments are obtained from vector product of local velocity and vortex strength multiplied by density. The program has been validated for a number of configurations for which experimental data is available. Good agreement has been obtained for these configurations. Also many results obtained for different cases of wing with different shapes parameters.
One of most the important compounds which have active hydrogen (substrate) is the thiols which used in a wide field in preparation of Mannich bases . A large number of Mannich bases have been prepared as a biologically active compound (pharmaceutical, pesticides, bactericidal, fungicidal and tuberculostatic) and in order to correlate their structure and reactivity with their pharmacological activity such as . It has been reported that the reaction is easily proceeded by using primary and secondary amine beside formaldehyde. But when we tried the reaction of thiols as substrate and formaldehyde and succinimide instead of amine, the reaction did not proceed to give Mannich base but product were methylenene – bis – sulfide . The type and mode of fracture were also assessed for all the experimental groups. Materials and Method: Fifty human adult maxillary premolar teeth were selected for this study. Standardized extensive class II MOD cavities with endodontic treatment were prepared for all teeth, except those that were saved as intact control. The teeth were divided into five groups of ten teeth each (n=10): (Group 1) intact control group, (Group 2) unrestored teeth with endodontic treatment, (Group 3) resto

AIM: The aim of the study is to evaluate the autogenous onlay graft with compression plate for treatment of persistent humeral shaft non-union with failed previous surgery both radiological and functional outcome. MATERIALS AND METHODS: A prospective study on twenty patients having persistent aseptic non-union age between 20 and 60 years old, after failed surgical treatment of fractures humeral shaft in Al-Zahra teaching and Al-Kindy teaching hospitals, while infected nonunion, diabetes mellitus, secondary metastasis, smoking, a

Azo dyes like methyl orange (MO) are very toxic components due to their recalcitrant properties which makes their removal from wastewater of textile industries a significant issue. The present study aimed to study their removal by utilizing aluminum and Ni foam (NiF) as anodes besides Fe foam electrodes as cathodes in an electrocoagulation (EC) system. Primary experiments were conducted using two Al anodes, two NiF anodes, or Al-NiF anodes to predict their advantages and drawbacks. It was concluded that the Al-NiF anodes were very effective in removing MO dye without long time of treatment or Ni leaching at in the case of adopting the Al-Al or NiF-NiF anodes, respectively. The structure and surface morphology of the NiF electrode were inves

This can only be reversed through early detection and intervention. The incidence of type 1 diabetes, which comprises 5-10 per cent of all diabetic diseases, is rising across the globe with a rate of 15 per 100,000 people per year. Methods: 90 samples were collected and used in this study. Thirty healthy children served as controls (aged 5-15 years), 30 patients with Type 1 Diabetes Mellitus (T1DM, aged 5-15 years) and 30 patients with type 1 diabetic nephropathy (DN), aged 5-20 years). Results: highly significant increase in Urea and Creatinine levels when compared control with DN al

Composite materials were prepared by mixing unsaturated polyester resin (UP) with plastic wastes, two types of plastic waste were used in this work included polyethylene-terephthalate (PET) and Polyvinyl chloride (PVC) with various weight fractions (0, 5,10,15, 20 and 25%) added as a filler in flakes form. In this work, some of the tests that were carried out included (tensile, bending, and compressive strength) as mechanical tests, in addition to (thermal conductivity and water absorption) as physical tests. The values of tensile, compressive strength and Young's modulus of UP increased after
