Several new derivatives of 1, 2, 4-triazoles linked to phthalimide moiety were synthesized through following multisteps. The first step involved preparation of 2, 2-diphthalimidyl ethanoic acid [2] via reaction of two moles of phthalimide with dichloroacetic acid. One hundred specimens (urine and sputum) were collected in sterilized containers from patients attending two hospitals in Baghdad province including: Educational Al-Karama Hospital and Educational Al-Yarmouk Hospital, in which, thirty-eight K. pneumoniae isolate were obtained out of one hundred specimens, all of which are of urine origin. The results obtained in this study showed that Klebsiella pneumoniae isolates were highly resistant to Augmentine (94.7%), also Klebsiella isolates were resistant to Ceftriaxone (86.8%), Cefotaxime (81.5%), and Ceftazidime (65.7%). Seventy-six urine specimens were collected from of patients suffering from recurrent
urinary tract infections (UTIs). Specimens were bacteriologically analyzed, fifty
(65.8%) of isolated bacterial strains were belonged to E.coli. 100% of isolated
uropathogenic E.coli (UPEC)strains displayed a biofilm positive phenotype under
optimized condition using microtiter plate assay. 21 of E.coli strains classified as highly
positive biofilm producers (42%), and 29 (58%) as weakly positive biofilm producers.

The study assessed the outcomes of the transconjunctival retroseptal approach, which reflects our experience in this type of surgery.
