Introduction: This study aimed to assess the color change of human teeth with artificial enamel white spot lesions (WSLs) after sandblasting with bioactive glass, resin infiltration, and microabrasion and to test color stability after pH cycling. Methods: Fifty extracted human mandibular first molars were randomly assigned into five groups: Sound, WSLs (untreated), and WSLs sandblasted with bioactive glass (Sylc), WSLs treated by resin infiltration (ICON), and WSLs treated by microabrasion (Opalustre), respectively. All specimens underwent a pH cycling procedure. The color parameters for each specimen were assessed using an Easyshade dental spectrophotometer at different time stages then the color changes (ΔE) were calculated. Results: The demineralization step recorded a significant color change (P < 0.01). All treatments significantly reduced the lesion color change (P < 0.01), amongst which ICON recorded the greatest color reduction (ΔE = 2.94). The pH cycling resulted in a negative color impact for the Sylc group. Conclusion: Resin infiltration was able to enhance the WSLs’ color and reestablish the natural color of the teeth efficiently as compared to bioactive glass and microabrasion.
Abstract: This study analyzes the depiction of environmental catastrophes and social response as humanity confronts consequences of human induced climate change climate change in Strieber’s The Day After Tomorrow (2004). It aims to examine ecological degradation, and human-nature relationships. To achieve the study's purpose, a qualitative methodology, specifically thematic analysis, has been employed to investigate the representation of climate change in The Day After Tomorrow by Whitley Strieber. The study examines themes and their interaction with the ecological dimensions of climate change using an ecocriticism theory by Garrard’s 2004, particularly the concept of apocalypse. It has been observed that Strieber’s The Day Aft

Fabric design is one of the arts in which humans participate functionally and aesthetically. Researching its design aspects is an important goal, especially after taking technical developments to cover many of its fields. Modern designs emphasize the importance of preparing designs and implementing them according to the child’s ability, inclinations and desires (mental, psychological and emotional). ), as the child is the real focus of the design idea, and the designer has paid most of his attention to the requirements and needs of this stage (childhood stage) because of its importance in the life of society, as he focused his attention on implementing designs that could achieve stability and stability in the child’s psyche through s

However, little studies concerned with visible light cured resin (VLCR) improved through addition of nanofiller are available. The purpose of this study was to evaluate some properties of (VLCR) after addition of SiO2 nanofiller. Materials and Methods: SiO2 nanofiller were added to (VLCR) tray material after being dissolved in tetrahydrofuran (THF) solvent. According to the pilot study 2% SiO2 nanofiller addition exhibited better properties than the other percentages (1%, 3%). The main study conducted involved (100) specimens divided into 5 groups according to the test included. (20) Specimens were selecte

The results show the possibility of using CO2 and also Ar in low alloy steel welding with a little decrease in the shear force of not more than 13% for 4mm thickness and time 2sec. The shear force increased when using Ar instead of CO2 to be , The shear force reach 36KN when using Ar at 2mm thickness time of 8 sec and current of 220 Amp. , when used CO2 instead of Ar d
