Electrical Discharge Machining (EDM) is a non-traditional cutting technique for metals removing which is relied upon the basic fact that negligible tool force is produced during the machining process. Also, electrical discharge machining is used in manufacturing very hard materials that are electrically conductive. Regarding the electrical discharge machining procedure, the most significant factor of the cutting parameter is the surface roughness (Ra). Conventional try and error method is time consuming as well as high cost. The purpose of the present research is to develop a mathematical model using response graph modeling (RGM). The impact of various parameters such as (current, pulsation on time and pulsation off time) are studied on the surface roughness in the present research. 27 samples were run by using CNC-EDM machine which used for cutting steel 304 with dielectric solution of gas oil by supplied DC current values (10, 20, and 30A). Voltage of (140V) uses to cut 1.7mm thickness of the steel and use the copper electrode. The result from this work is useful to be implemented in industry to reduce the time and cost of Ra prediction. It is observed from response table and response graph that the applied current and pulse on time have the most influence parameters of surface roughness while pulse off time has less influence parameter on it. The supreme and least surface roughness, which is achieved from all the 27 experiments is (4.02 and 2.12µm), respectively. The qualitative assessment reveals that the surface roughness increases as the applied current and pulse on time increases
Submerged arc welding (SAW) process is an essential metal joining processes in industry. The quality of weld is a very important working aspect for the manufacturing and construction industries, the challenges are made optimal process environment. Design of experimental using Taguchi method (L9 orthogonal array (OA)) considering three SAW parameter are (welding current, arc voltage and welding speed) and three levels (300-350-400 Amp. , 32-36-40 V and 26-28-30 cm/min). The study was done on SAW process parameters on the mechanical properties of steel type comply with (ASTM A516 grade 70). Signal to Noise ratio (S/N) was computed to calculate the optimal process parameters. Percentage contributions of each parameter are validated by using an
... Show MoreCNC machine is used to machine complex or simple shapes at higher speed with maximum accuracy and minimum error. In this paper a previously designed CNC control system is used to machine ellipses and polylines. The sample needs to be machined is drawn by using one of the drawing software like AUTOCAD® or 3D MAX and is saved in a well-known file format (DXF) then that file is fed to the CNC machine controller by the CNC operator then that part will be machined by the CNC machine. The CNC controller using developed algorithms that reads the DXF file feeds to the machine, extracts the shapes from the file and generates commands to move the CNC machine axes so that these shapes can be machined.
With the wide developments of computer science and applications of networks, the security of information must be increased and make it more complex. The most important issues is how to control and prevent unauthorized access to secure information, therefore this paper presents a combination of two efficient encryption algorithms to satisfy the purpose of information security by adding a new level of encryption in Rijndael-AES algorithm. This paper presents a proposed Rijndael encryption and decryption process with NTRU algorithm, Rijndael algorithm is important because of its strong encryption. The proposed updates are represented by encryption and decryption Rijndael S-Box using NTRU algorithm. These modifications enhance the degree of

Satellite multispectral data have an advantage in that the image data in various bands can be subjected to digital enhancement techniques for highlighting contrasts in objects for improving image interpretability. Geomorphological mapping involves the partitioning of the terrain into conceptual spatial entities based upon criteria. This paper illustrates how geomorphometry and mapping approaches can be used to produce geomorphological information related to the land surface, landforms and geomorphic systems. ... Show MoreThe synchronization of a complex network with optoelectronic feedback has been introduced theoretically, with use of 2×2 oscillators network; each oscillator considered is an optocoupler (LED coupled with photo-detector). Fixing the bias current (δ) and increasing the feedback strength (Ԑ) of each oscillator, the dynamical sequence like chaotic and periodic mixed mode oscillations has been observed. Synchronization of unidirectionally coupled of light emitting diodes network has been featured when coupling strength equal to 1.7×10-4. The transition between non-synchronization and synchronization states by means of the spatio-temporal distribution has been investigated.
In this Paper, we proposed two new predictor corrector methods for solving Kepler's equation in hyperbolic case using quadrature formula which plays an important and significant rule in the evaluation of the integrals. The two procedures are developed that, in two or three iterations, solve the hyperbolic orbit equation in a very efficient manner, and to an accuracy that proves to be always better than 10-15. The solution is examined with and with grid size , using the first guesses hyperbolic eccentric anomaly is and , where is the eccentricity and is the hyperbolic mean anomaly.
