The preparation of activated carbon (AC) from date stones by using microwave assisted K2CO3 activation was investigated in this paper. Based on Box-Wilson central composite design, two second order polynomial models were developed to correlate the process variables to the two responses. Two distinct types of Jotun epoxy coatings: Tankguard 412 contained polyamine cured epoxy and Penguard HB contained polyamide cured epoxy, were tested and studied using the electrochemical impedance spectroscopic (EIS) method. Objective: The purpose of this study was to clarify the need and the role of interval appendicectomy after successful initial conservative treatment.
