Background: Porcelain veneers are under a great deal of stress which may lead to clinical failure as fracture or dettachment. This study examined whether different finishing lines and lingual shoulder preparations in the incisal area of the maxillary central incisor affect the bond of the porcelain veneers. Materials and methods: A two- dimensional finite element model was made. Location and magnitude of maximum Von Mises stresses were calculated in porcelain veneer. Activated carbon loading with metals oxides is new adsorbents and catalyst, which seem very promising for desulfurization process. The present study deals with the preparation of three metals oxides loaded on activated carbon (AC). The tri composite of ZnO/NiO/CoO/AC was characterized by X-Ray Diffraction (XRD), X-Ray florescence (XRF), N₂ adsorption for BET surface area, pore volume and Atomic Force Microscopy (AFM). Background:The breast cancer is the most common non-skin malignancy in women and prognostic factors are important in predicting disease free survival and overall survival.
Objective: To detect prognostic factors of breast cancer patients and study the correlation between these prognostic factors.
Patients and methods: this is a retrospective study which included87 patients with breast cancer receiving chemotherapy in Baghdad teaching hospital/ oncology department in the year 2010. This paper has the interest of finding the approximate solution (APPS) of a nonlinear variable coefficients hyperbolic boundary value problem (NOLVCHBVP).  The given boundary value problem is written in its discrete weak form (WEFM) and proved  have a unique solution, which is obtained via the mixed Galerkin finite element with implicit method that reduces the problem to solve the Galerkin nonlinear algebraic system  (GNAS).
