In the present work experiments were conducted to study  the effect of solid loading (1,5 and 9 vol.%) on the enhancement of carbon dioxide absorption in bubble column at various volumetric gas flow rate (0.75, 1 and 1.5 m³/h) and absorbent concentration (caustic soda)( 0.1,0.5 and 1 M  ). Activated carbon and alumina oxide (Al₂O₃) are used as solid particles. The corrosion behavior of bare and chemical conversion coated (through anodizing) aluminum ASA 606 I in stagnant chromic acid solutions . Solutions of 2, 6 & J O wt. % Cr03 at 45°C, have been investigated using polarization technique. The anodizing experiments were conducted under fixed conditions of 35 minute exposure time and 30 volt supplied voltage. The most important feature achieved was the great difference in behavior between the anodic polarization curves for bare and anodized aluminum in different concentrations of chromic acid solutions.

In this work, the spectra of plasma glow produced by Nd:YAG laser operated at 1.064 μm on Al-Mg alloys with same molar ratio samples in air were analyzed by comparing the atomic lines of aluminum and magnesium with that of strong standard lines. Abstract Twelve isolates of bacteria were obtained from samples of different soils and water amended with 100µg/ml of five heavy metals chlorides (i.e: Aluminum Al+2, Iron Fe+2, Lead Pb+2, Mercury Hg+2 and Zinc Zn+2). Four isolates were identified as Bacillus subtilis and B. subtilis (B2) isolate was selected for this study according to their resistance to all five heavy metals chlorides.
