Abstract

     Travel Time estimation and reliability measurement is an important issues for improving operation efficiency and safety of traffic roads networks. The aim of this research is the estimation of total travel time and distribution analysis for three selected links in Palestine Arterial Street in Baghdad city. Buffer time index results in worse reliability conditions. Link (2) from Bab Al Mutham intersection to Al-Sakara intersection produced a buffer index of about 36%  and 26 % for Link (1) Al-Mawall intersection to Bab Al- Mutham intersection and finally for link (3) which presented a 24% buffer index. The present study aims at knowing the effect of discussion method for students of fifth grade in preparatory school.

Methodology of the Study:

          In order to achieve the objective of the study, the researcher chooses non-randomly the preparatory school affiliated to the District Chamchamal \ Suliemnaniya. The sample attained 64 students in 32 per group (control and experimental) groups. The researcher used the discussion method which was applied on experimental group. She uses the traditional method on the control group.

Dielectric measurements were carried on pure and doping potassium sulfate with copper and iron ions samples at 1wt.% and 3wt.% for both of copper and iron. The dielectric constant (ε') decreases exponentially from 2.8 to 1.5 as frequency increase for both dopant which is attributed to the space charge and structural distortion. The dielectric loss (ε") for Cu dopant decrease gradually with frequency. The same behavior for 1%Fe dopant while its 3%Fe doping started from 0.27 then decrease exponential. Band gaps for all samples almost constant around 6 eV.
