Background: Intramedullary astrocytomas
account for about 1% of all CNS tumors and
6–8% of spinal cord tumors. The vast majority
of intramedullary astrocytomas are slowgrowing
lesions.
Objectives: The goal in this study was to
review a series of patients who underwent
surgical removal of intramedullary high-grade
astrocytomas, focusing on the functional
outcome and the effect of multimodality
treatment on the survival of patients with high
grade intramedullary astrocytoma.

A computer program developed originally by Oukaili to evaluate curvature is modified to evaluate the deflection of prestressed composite beam under flexural load. Background: uterine involution is the process by which the postpartum uterus returning to its prepregnant state by the process of autolysis. This article addresses a new numerical method to find a numerical solution of the linear delay differential equation of fractional order , the fractional derivatives described in the Caputo sense. The new approach is to approximating second and third derivatives. A backward finite difference method is used. Besides, the composite Trapezoidal rule is used in the Caputo definition to match the integral term. The accuracy and convergence of the prescribed technique are explained. The results  are shown through numerical examples.
