Experimental and Theoretical Investigation of Impact Dynamic Plasticity for CK45
...Show More Authors

Abstract

This paper represents a study of the effect of the soil type, the drilling parameters and the drilling tool properties on the dynamic vibrational behavior of the drilling rig and its assessment in the drilling system. So first, an experimental drilling rig was designed and constructed to embrace the numerical work.

The experimental work included implementation of the drill-string in different types of soil with different properties according to the difference in the grains size, at different rotational speeds (RPM), and different weights on bit (WOB) (Thrust force), in a way that allows establishing the charts that correlate the vibration acceleration, the rate of penetration (ROP), and the power consumption curves with the depth of drilling.

In addition to that the ANSYS Workbench (the 14.0 release) software was used to simulate and verify the experimental results. And it was also used to model other numerical cases with different drill bit diameters.

Keywords: Soil, Vibration, and Drilling Rig.

Semi – automated analysis for the Nanoscale determination of Chlorpheniramine maleate drug using sodium nitroprusside by continuous flow feed via homemade NAG-SSP Photometer
...Show More Authors

This study presents a rapid, sensitive, and straightforward approach to measure chlorpheniramine maleate (CPM) by using turbidity CFIA. The method involves CPM reacting with sodium nitroprusside (Nitropress) to produce a pale white precipitate. The NAG-SSP-5S1D analyzer was used to measure turbidity at 0°–180° angle to detect the attenuation of incident light as a result of collision on the surfaces of the precipitate particles. The linear range of CPM measurements was between 0.008 and 11 m.mol/L, with correlation coefficient of 0.9983 and R2% = 99.65. The limit of detection was determined to be 0.0328 µg/sample from the lowest concentration in the calibration curve, and the repeatability of the method (RSD%) was less than 0.4% (n = 6

effect of a laser device on some biomechanical variables of the rotational phase in the achievement of 100 m freestyle swimming for the Iraqi team (16-18 years old)
...Show More Authors

The researchers have discovered weaknesses in the rotational phase of the 100-meter freestyle event, including a lack of proper movement direction and control of biomechanical variables necessary for swimmers to achieve high rotational accuracy, which leads to outperforming competitors. The objective of this study was to investigate the effect of using a laser device on improving the performance of the rotational phase among swimmers on the Iraqi national team. The experimental approach was conducted on a sample of 6 swimmers, representing 100% of the target population. The researchers concluded that the utilization of a proposed laser device in the rotational phase resulted in positive differences in biomechanical variables, contri

Effect of capillary tube on structural and Optical Properties of SnO2 Thin Films Prepared by APCVD
...Show More Authors

Abstract : Tin oxide SnO2 films were prepared by atmospheric chemical vapor deposition (APCVD) technique. Our study focus on prepare SnO2 films by using capillary tube as deposition nozzle and the effect of these tubes on the structural properties and optical properties of the prepared samples. X-ray diffraction (XRD) was employed to find the crystallite size. (XRD) studies show that the structure of a thin films changes from polycrystalline to amorphous by increasing the number of capillary tubes used in sample preparation. Maximum transmission can be measured is (95%) at three capillary tube. (AFM) where use to analyze the morphology of the tin oxides surface. Roughness and average grain size for different number of capillary tubes have b

Moderation between the anvil of application and the hammer of extremism

This research study focuses on fundamental questions. It deals with the content of the critical reviews through which the most important sources that undermine the renaissance of the Islamic human society can be concluded. It is the vague fetishization of the sacred between religion, politics, and ideas, which members of society live in  and which raised the dust of closed-minded fanaticism that led to the return of deviant extremism. It is oppression, violence, and domination, all of which are professional tools in the manufacture of the ideology of extremism in all its forms. Here,  the idea matured in giving a human, intellectual and philosophical overview that mixed the required drawing in the formulation of scientific cont

Effect of Nanoparticles and Surfactant on Phase Inversion of Two Phases
...Show More Authors

In the present study, a pressure drop technique was used to identify the phase inversion point of oil-in-water to water-in-oil flows through a horizontal pipe and to study the effect of additives (nanoparticles, cationic surfactant and blend  nanoparticles-surfactant) on the critical dispersed volume fraction (phase inversion point). The measurements were carried  for mixture velocity ranges from 0.8 m/sec to 2.3 m/sec. The results showed that at low mixture velocity 0.8 and 1 m/sec there is no effect of additives and velocity on phase inversion point, while at high mixture velocities the phase inversion point for nanoparticles and blend (nanoparticles/surfactant) systems was delayed (postponed) to a higher value of the dispers
